The Higginbottom Whisky Revival


The HAH Whisky Company is breathing new life into the whisky market by reviving the brand name The Higginbottom. From 1878 and with a career spanning 50 years, Henry Albert Higginbottom (whose initials were HAH), was a producer and supplier of fine whiskies. He is credited as being a main provider of whisky – including his Club Blend – to British troops during the Boer war and Great War.

Four limited-edition bottlings complete the HAH whisky company's launch:

One of only eight active distilleries in Islay, Bunnahabhain (pronounced Boon-a-havn) is the island's most northerly distillery.

1990 Strathclyde - Cask 110036

55.0% ABV – Bourbon Barrel – £120.00

Situated in Glasgow at the south bank of the River Clyde, Strathclyde Grain Distillery is owned by Chivas Brothers.

2009 Heaven Hill - Cask 152736

63.5% ABV - Bourbon Barrel – £60.00

Heaven Hill Distilleries is the seventh largest spirits supplier in the US and the second largest holder of aging Bourbon Whiskey in the world.
